What is Ascend?
Ascend is the largest, non-profit Pan-Asian organization for business professionals in North America. Established in 2005, Ascend is focused on enhancing the presence, visibility, and influence of current and future visibly diverse business leaders in the corporate workforce. Reaching over 600,000 people internationally, Ascend has 51 professional and student chapters located in major business hubs and campuses servicing members from over 200 major companies including the Fortune 100.
Operating in the Vancouver campus of the University of British Columbia, we represent the global organization of Ascend as the student chapter at UBC.
With 27 student chapters throughout the US and Canada, we have an expansive network within our Ascend community across the continent.
CUS Affiliated Club
As the UBC Chapter of Ascend, we are affiliated with UBC Sauder's Commerce Undergraduate Society, the largest business school organization in Canada.
Ascend's student chapters focus on fostering the next generation of Pan-Asian leaders. These chapters bring unique value to the members by creating a platform for career development and by helping them build a network of mentors and coaches.
Ascend Leadership at UBC
Ascend UBC will be representing the first student chapter of our corporate arm. With the support of Ascend Canada's vast member network and business partners, we can equip students with the necessary resources to enhance the presence and influence of leadership diversity.
"To have a diverse and inclusive Canada where Pan-Asian talent can achieve its full potential"
